FAQs

1. Does the Nut Butter contain actual butter?

Not at all, the ingredients we use contain only the nuts themselves and some honey for a selected range of products. The texture of our Nut Butters are somewhat similar in terms of the spreadability at room temperature, and hardens when chilled due to the natural oil content in nuts.

2. How long can they be kept for?

Up to three months. Our Nut Butters are handcrafted in small batches, and freshly made as we believe fresher is better.

3. Do they have to be refrigerated?

We do recommend to store your Nut Butters in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. While the shelf life will be prolonged should you decide to store them in the refrigerator, please do note that the texture will change to be harder and less spreadable while chilled.

4. Why is there oil at the surface?

All nuts have natural oil within them, and as we do not use any chemical agents, there is a natural separation as oil rises to the surface. Simply stir well before use.

5. Why does my Macadamia Butter look "runny" or "watery"?

Macadamia Nuts have one of the highest oil contents compared to other nuts, leading to the appearance of a runny texture.

6. Are your Nut Butters the same as Peanut Butter?

Just as how Peanut Butter is made from Peanuts, our various Nut Butters are made from nuts. Fun fact: Peanuts are not actually nuts, but legume.

7. Is the only way to use Nut Butter on bread or crackers? How else can I eat them?

While Nut Butters are indeed great on toast and viewed as a breakfast item, they can be enjoyed as a natural salad dressing, in smoothies or used in chia puddings, baked goods, even as a dip for fruits and snacks! Even for breakfast, how about trying them with your overnight oats, or with waffles and pancakes?
